In owners' own words
I am having trouble with my 1997 Plymouth Breeze, I took it to a repair shop and was told that it is the head gasket. I need to know if there is any kind of recall due to this problem. I was told from the repair shop that it is very common for these kind of vehicles to have this problem. Please advise me if there is anything I can do. Thank you for your cooperation. I have owned this car since 1998 . When I purchased the car it had 28,000 mi. On it. Just when the next 36,000 mi rolled over yhe head gasket blew. Now another 30,000 mi it blew again. I called the original dealer they said there is a problem with the 2.0 Litre engines head gasket but there is no recall at this time. Home office refuses to make a call. Engine and engine cooling
Engine head gasket failed causing an oil leak. Had the same problem with 1996 dodge stratus we own. This seems to be a common problem with these vehicles. Repair cost is > $700. This is an obvious manufactuers defect given the number of complaints for this defect and the low number of miles this failure happens at. Engine and engine cooling
