In owners' own words
Cylinder head gaskets on Plymouth breezes, dodge stratus, and crysler cirrus are failing. I live in a small town of 600 people 4 people who own these types of vehiles have experienced the same problem. When teds reapired it they had to back order because they have had to replace so many and the ones that they are replaceing them with are updated. I informed crysler and they said to file a complaint with you. Engine and engine cooling
Head gasket leaking oil and blowing by spark plugs. Our regular, trusted mechanic says this is a typical problem with Plymouth Breeze and shold have been a recall item. Since repair estimate is $600, would like to know if this item is being considered for recall since it has happened to so many vehicles and there are technical service bulletins regarding this problem. Engine and engine cooling
On the way to work noticed smoke coming from the hood, smelled oil burning. Continued to work, and parked vehicle in parking lot. After work, saw oil on the ground, and put more oil in vehicle. Took car to the dealer. Was told that it needed a new head gasket, and that they were in the process of redesigning, which meant that this part was on backorder. Engine and engine cooling
