Consumer experiencing poblem with dealer not honoring mfr. Recall notice (mfr. Number unavaiable). Condition can result in a corrosion that causes pits to form on the lower coil of the front springs, allowing cracks to develop. This can result in a breakage of lower spring, which can come incontact with tire, and can result into a tire blowout, causing vehicle to lose control at high speed. Suspension
While driving the car, the lower front control arm corroded through and broke. Car was very unstable and tires wore down fast. There was a previous recall on this control arm it was campaign number 02v341000. Service was done by Hyundai in 9/2003 and part corroded and broke in 1/2007. Either service was not done correctly or poor quality parts were used. Suspension · reported at 134,700 miles
Before recall 98v245000, consumer was beginning to accelerate when vehicle hit a curb possibly related to the spring coil collapsing damaging the tire and causing airbags to deploy, violent deployment of the airbags damaged windshield and blew sunroof completely off, consumer sustained injuries to the face. *Slc Suspension
