In dry, good road conditions, when braking, the abs goes into inappropriate operation and reduces braking ability by 40% to 70%. I tested the vehicle under safe conditions and the problem is consistent. I re-seated the electrical connectors on the abs modulator / motor pack and the problem temporarily goes away. Was applying the abs brakes to stop the abs brakes would release & then grab, causing extended stopping distance. Vehicle failed to stop right away.
