In owners' own words
My 1994 Lincoln Mark Viii head lamps are clouding, and I have a horrible time with nighttime visibility due to barley any light coming out of my headlamps. I went to the nearest Lincoln dealer and they said to buy mcguigers plastic polish and it should take the cloudiness out, but it didn't. Sometimes even in normal conditions I have to drive with my high beams on to be able to see. Exterior lighting · reported at 90,000 miles
The car has insufficient lighting and I have encounterd several close calls as a result. The most recent incident could have been avoided if the lighting in these vehicles was not of poor design. A deer in the roadway could not be seen due to the lack of sufficient lighting which caused over 3k in damage to my car. There have been several close calls prior to this incedent. Exterior lighting
The head lights on the 94 Lincoln mark 8 do not put out enough light to safely see while driving down the rd, it appears the reflective material is gone, the headlights have been polished to remove scratches and yellowing, they were also aimed, to make matters worse ford does not offer headlight assemblies for this car anymore nor do they have a solution to fix it available.
