Windshield wipers quit working in the middle of operation. Driver has to wiggle the wiring harness before operation begins again. Sometimes windshield wipers do not come on at all. Manufacturer was contacted about the problem. Owner told that truck was not included in recall 98v150001 gm/windsheild wiring due to vin. Problem has not been corrected at this time. Please provide any further nformation. Visibility
The windshield wipers work intermittently. The consumer has been caught on several occasions in the rain and the windshield wipers did not work. This vehicle was included in the windshield wiper nhtsa recall 98v150001. *Ak the consumer would firmly hit the wiper motor with his hand 2 or 3 times. While driving 30 mph in inclement weather windshield wipers failed. This caused poor visibility. However, consumer was able to maintain control of the vehicle, and drove it to the dealer for inspection.
