Reading the numbers

Across the 10 model years of the Isuzu Rodeo in this data, 1992 draws comparatively few complaints; 1999 is the outlier year.

Filings have fallen off, 4 in the last three years against 20 in the three before. That is normal as a generation leaves the road.

The median odometer reading at the time of complaint was 144,000 miles.

In owners' own words

Speeometer and odometer inoperative. Recently I learned that other vehicles of the same make and model are experiencing the same problem, therefore I am compeled to report this and am satisfied that mine is not an isolated problem. I strongly feel that this could impose unsafe conditions. I look forward to hearing from you on this matter. Thank you in advance. Power train
Vehicle traveling at 60 mph when clutch exploded. The fly wheel, plus mescellaneous clutch parts, along with parts of the transmission cover and starter were sprayed onto highway. Several of the hot parts flew into the grass, next to the highway, starting a fire. Power train
