The vehicle was turned off and the transmission was placed in reverse. The driver thought the key was in the accessory position but it was not. The driver exited the vehicle and went to pull the key out the ignition when it suddenly started and ran over her. The driver sustain 2 broken bones in her right leg and a broken collar bone. The consumer believes a clutch safety switch should be installed. *Nlm *nlm Power train
Pe95-041; auto-transmission will down shift for reason unknown. Was told this is normal performance. *Ak at highway speeds of 55 mph and over, vehicle tacks at about 1800 rpms, on a flat road, vehicle will suddenly downshift and tack at 2800-300 rpm, consumer states it happens in and out of cruise control with a constant pressure on the accelerator, it will also downshift dramatically at low speeds. *Slc Power train
The vehicle was taken to dealer for recall repair 00v-106, after repair the vehicle began experiencing difficulty shifting gears which it had never experinced prior to having the valve replaced, the vehicle was returned and the manual shift valve was replaced again and the consumer was charged for repair, consumer request reimbursement for the second repair.
