In owners' own words
VEHICLE KEEPS GOING INTO " DEEP SLEEP" MODE. Can ot start and can not get into the vehicle. Requires a jump start and you are left stranded anywhere. Ford told me they are aware of this issue in the hybrid but their engineering department has NO solution. You can be left stranded in unsafe or dangerours places. I bought the vehicle in march 2024, new, so that at 74 years old Iv would have a reliable and safe vehicle. Electrical system
2024 Ford Maverick turned off and gave me a message across dash that said stop safely now. In pulling onto the shoulder was almost hit by traffic from behind. Vehicle would not restart and had to be towed. It took 2.5 weeks to get it repaired. They replaced the high voltage power inverter, one time use bolts, and the high voltage fuse. Electrical system
Driving on Baltimore's 695 outer loop traveling south at apx 65-75 mph in the left lane, the truck flashed a warning"stop safely now" all vehicle powertrain was disabled and I, while decelerating uncontrolled, pulled across 4 lanes to a median and waited roadside 3+ hours before ford's roadside collected the truck.
