In owners' own words
The windshield heavily reflects the dashboard in most lighting conditions, making it difficult to see out of the windshield. Polarized sunglasses can help reduce the effect of this issue, but there are many times of day when lighting conditions make it difficult to see while wearing sunglasses, but still cause the strong glare from the windshield. This issue is a common complaint of Equinox EV owners on social media. Visibility/wiper
When driving in a direction that is nearly aligned with the sun, the reflection off the dashboard presents a hologram-like image onto the windshield which obstructs the drivers view. It looks like itâs caused by the textured pattern of the dashboard. My wife typically drives the car, and weâre just coming out of overcast days so this is the first time Iâve really noticed how bad it is. Visibility/wiper
Dashboard glare when sunny. Makes it extremely difficult to look at what is in front of the vehicle. Wearing sunglasses helps but it is still a major safety concern that sunglasses are required every time I drive to just be able to look out the front windshield! Over time there will be many accidents due to the glare reducing visibility. Visibility/wiper
