In owners' own words
The vehicle will automatically extremely hard brake while moving for no apparent reason, with no obstructions present. This problem startles driver and passenger and can present a danger to vehicle of being hit by other vehicles not expecting a hard braking situation for no apparent reason. Please investigate and make manufacturer responsible to fix the issue. Thank You Forward collision avoidance
Automatic emergency braking engages violently on occasions when there is no obstruction present. It has left me at times with my vehicle stationary half way into a high speed traffic lane with the parking brake engaged. The time it takes to disengage the brakes leaves the vehicle in a dangerous position in the roadway. Forward collision avoidance
While driving in a plaza parking lot at approximately 18mph the AEB engaged for no reason. There were not any objects near our car to activate the system. The AEB activated so quickly and abruptly that my spouse and I needed to seek medical attention due to whiplash. Forward collision avoidance
