Accelerating onto hwy and vehicle jerks then flashes âservice hybrid systemâ and âbattery lowâ (as in the vehicle battery not electric mode charge. Pulled up to a stop light 2 min later and automatic breaking locks up and the vehicle completely locks and shuts down. Unable to reset/turn off/on or shift. Had to be towed to dealership. I have an on going unrepaired recall on the electrical system, charging system and possibly the battery. When apply the brake to start my Jeep the brakes sometimes are locked up and I have to push the start button a few times to release them. I was told that was normal at the dealership.
