In owners' own words
While charging at a DC Fast Charging station, my vehicle reported "High Voltage" Battery problem. So I disconnected from the charger and started driving home. While driving I got âStop Safely Nowâ message on the dashboard. I could hardly pull over to the shoulder. The car immediately went dead as soon as I stopped. I was lucky to be on a road with no traffic else this could have been a disaster. Electrical system
After stopping the vehicle to run an errand, the vehicle locked up. The steering wheel would not turn. The vehicle would not shift into any gear. The vehicle was inoperable and I found myself stranded 25 miles from home. The vehicle was towed to our local Ford dealership where it has been for the past two weeks. This failure could just as occurred on the road causing a dangerous situation. Electrical system
The charging system would not work after purchase. Without careful planning I could have been stuck hours from home, stranded. I tried about 8 different chargers and called support with no luck. We ended up having to tow it to the dealership. We've now waited 3 weeks to be told 2 electrical wiring harnesses are corroded ( brand new car ) and they are not able to order the parts they need.
