In owners' own words

Brand new 2022 Outback XT driven 500 miles. Got hit by the tiniest rock that left a barely visible chi on the lower right passenger side. By the next morning it had cracked and spread across half of the windshield. One week later, the same thing happens but on the driver side and now the cracks have connected forming one massive crack. I am hesitant to replace this since it sounds like windshields continue to crack. Visibility/wiper
Early morning after sitting in the parking garage overnight, a crack randomly appeared from top middle portion of the front windshield and propagated vertically down the center of the windshield. The crack later spread through the center of the windshield after a few days. There appeared to be no other damage around the origin of the crack (center windshield area) nor was it due to negligence - the cause is unknown. Visibility/wiper
I have 2022 Subaru Outback Limited XT. The windshield cracked 7 days after purchase. Only have 200 miles on it. Drove at 60mph and suddenly saw a crack on the passenger side of the windshield. Didn't hear any pop sound. The crack was about 17 inch long spreading from the bottom edge passenger side to the center of the windshield. Took the car to the dealership and was told the windshield is not under warranty. Visibility/wiper
