The rear windshield shattered while closing the driver door, glass pieces could fall into passenger on the back seat, Acura posted a Service Bulletin (22-014) on 10/28/2022. The vehicle hasnât been inspected by the manufacturer. There wasnât any service lights, it just randomly happened while closing the driver door, something to point out I did used the rear windshield defroster in the morning. Visibility/wiper
On 11/19/2025, I opened my driver's side door and got in the drivers seat. When I closed the door my rear windshield shattered. The glass then began to cave in creating a hole. The problem is acknowledged by the manufacturer as outlined in NHTSA #: 10225484 (service bulletin). I called Spitzer Acura dealership in Pittsburgh who said I would need to call a glass company and they wouldn't cover it. Visibility/wiper
My rear windshield shattered during the winter. There was no signs of any damage beforehand. There was broken glass everywhere and I couldâve seriously cut myself or anyone back there couldâve been hurt by the pieces of broken glass. I had to file a police report for my insurance. Many car dealerships are refusing to fix! Thereâs too many reports of this happening! Visibility/wiper
