In owners' own words

After hitting a bump in road vehicle shimmy's till speed is reduced to 20-25 miles a hour. Seems to happen more often when I am in a curve. Happen on free way and two lands. Usually of 60 miles per hour. Less prevalent at lower speeds. First noticed when truck was new in 2017. Dealer said could find nothing wrong with truck. I just got back from dealer service for same problem 1650 dollars still doing same shimmy. Steering · reported at 7,000 miles
While driving down I-5 between tacoma, wa and olympia, wa at 60 mph, I encountered a steering wheel oscillation that affected by driving. I slowed down between 30-35 mph before the shaking ceased. I drove safely home and crawled underneath and noticed I could move the drag link rod back and forth. The local Ford dealership plans to replace parts but they are on back order. Ford does have a tsb out on this matter. Steering · reported at 18,264 miles
Shaking of steering wheel this is not an isolated incident with our trucks, it's a nationwide problem that is very very dangerous. In a 10 mile ride it would happen 3-4x at 70 to 75mph hitting the slightest bump, the truck would violently shake. I would have to slow down to 20 mph for it to stop. Very difficult on a highway and unsafe.*Dt consumer stated 6 complaints on 6 different trucks on same issue. Steering
