In owners' own words

As I was driving about 45MPH my car dropped down to a lower gear. It stayed there until I pulled over and turned off the car. I started it back up and it was fine. It ran good for about two miles or so and did it again. I stopped into a Chy dealership and they said it was the solenoid in the transmission. They said they had problems with this on other town and country vans. My van only has 72000 miles on it. Power train
I was in motion driving my vehicle on 495 one of the biggest highways in dc area. While driving my transmission started to slip could feel this slips then my car lost all power reved up to 5 6 while pressing the gas but I could not get the car to go. The most dangerous day of my life for my children and I. There has already been a recall on the same year make and model but not my vin number. Recall 16v461000 Power train · reported at 72,000 miles
I have about 71000 miles and my car when pushing on the gas revved up the rpm's and would not move forward. My mechanic said my transmission fluid pump is bad. There is a recall for this exact issue for 2016 Chrysler Town And Country vans manufactured when mine was however my vin is not included in the recall. Chrysler should do the right thing and include all those affected with this issue. Power train · reported at 71,000 miles
