In owners' own words

For a few years after purchasing my vehicle I noticed sometimes it would stutter or throttle and surge while driving, but every time I took it to the dealer they were "unable to duplicate" the problem. Now the source of the problem I believe is error code p16d0, but there is no recall on this part that is mentioned in this code. General motors should compensate vehicle purchasers who have run into this issue. Engine · reported at 74,500 miles
The contact owns a 2014 Chevrolet Malibu. The contact stated that the engine was shaking, and the vehicle stalled while driving at an undisclosed speed, with the check engine warning light illuminated. The vehicle was not diagnosed nor repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and suggested that the contact file a complaint with the NHTSA. The approximate failure mileage was 1,000. While driving 60 MPH on the highway my car started stuttering then lost all power. It threw 3 codes P0131, P2097 and P0171. I have spent over $1,000.00 and a month later they tell me it was my intake bolts that were loose. They replaced every part PCV valve, MAF sensor, O2 sensor and car still wouldn't run right. PLEASE address this issue as that is UNSAFE for a car to just stop on the highway. Engine · reported at 167,611 miles
