In owners' own words
My vehicle's power shut down without any warning on busy city street (3 lane road). I was unable to steer or brake. I had to coast off the road until car stopped. Then I put it into park. It restarted and drove fine after the restart. Very scary. Thankful I wasn't driving 70 mph on busy interstate. Throttle body replaced recently as engine had been bucking and wasn't accelerating when gas pedal was depressed. Service brakes · reported at 61,800 miles
The contact owns a 2013 Lincoln MKX. While driving, the brake pedal traveled to the floorboard without warning. The vehicle was taken to greg sweet ford (440-593-7736, located at 4011 e center st, north kingsville, oh 44068) where the brake module (part number: dt4z2c215a) was replaced. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 62,000. Service brakes · reported at 62,000 miles
I purchased this car in september 29, 2013, with 3 miles on it. It currently has just over 20,000 miles on it. The brake booster started hissing, squealing, when I depressed the brakes to start the car last week, but I thought it was because I had just washed the car. Now the car was just out of warranty. This should be covered under the warranty, but Lincoln wants $1,000 to repair. Service brakes · reported at 20,000 miles
