The median odometer reading at the time of complaint was 55,000 miles.
In owners' own words
The brakes have a chattering noise and feel through the pedal while stopped, when you release them. The car can be in park, and it still does it. It's a known problem, but toyota is doing their best to avoid repairing it under the newly extended warranty on the "brake actuator". It's 100% repeatable, as many times as you like, if the engine is running and the brake pedal is pushed and released. Service brakes · reported at 93,000 miles
The contact owns a 2008 Lexus LS460. While driving approximately 30 mph, the brake pedal was depressed and there was an excessive delayed response. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic who diagnosed that the abs actuator would need to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 130,000. Service brakes · reported at 130,000 miles
