In owners' own words
This is the second time this has happened. My drivers side passenger sliding door fell off and was hanging by the cable used to shut it. Thank god it happened to me on both occasions as the door is very heavy. I have seen other people stating the same thing has happened to them. I am following the advice of one said person to get something done about this dangerous defect. The vehicle was stationary in a parking lot Structure · reported at 181,643 miles

During cold weather, the automatic rear passengers doors failed to close and lock properly, allowing the doors to open. This only seems to happen when the temperature gets below 32 degrees. Problem is the van is kept in garage where it is warm, but when out of the garage (away from home) and this happens, no way to safely get home with the doors not closed properly, especially with children in the back.
