In owners' own words
I hit a small pothole traveling on I-295 at 65 mph. The truck bounced out of control and drifted into the left lane. I braked to 35 mph and it stopped. A shop mechanic said it was ok. The same thing occurred recently on I-64. Hit a road patch and bounced to a stop. My wife was horrified at the violent shaking. A master mechanic could not find anything wrong. This only happens at high speeds above 60 mph. Suspension · reported at 62,500 miles
As I hit speeds of 65+ mph, if I hit any rough surface, bridge abutment, or small pot hole the trucks front end would proceed to shake violently out of control only stopping after I brought the truck to a complete stop on side of highway. Got back on highway and exact same problem happened 1.5 Miles farther up road. Shake is so violent I can hardly maintain control of the vehicle to even bring it to a stop. Ford f-250 superduty- while driving at 55mph or higher, and you hit a small pothole or dip in the road, this vehicle goes into a violent shimmy. The vehicle is uncontrollable and extremely dangerous. I won't let any of my family members ride in the truck with me and cringe at the thoughts of having to drive it on the interstate! It has shaken me off the road and into the ditch or median several times. Suspension · reported at 100 miles
