2003 Workhorse W22 chassis. Consumer writes regarding problems with brakes *tgw the consumer stated there was burning brake smell coming from the right front passenger side of the rv and the brake pedal traveled to the floor twice. The consumer stated he has waited over a year for the recall to be performed. *Jb the consumer stated the recall was being limited to a bosch part. Updated 12/22/10 Service brakes, hydraulic
2003 Workhorse W22 chassis. Consumer writes regarding Workhorse recall *tgw the consumer stated the brakes were replaced on january 28, 2010. Eight months later, the rv was back at the repair shop for more brake work. When the consumer arrived home from a trip, there was a recall notice in the mail regarding the brakes. Vehicle had brake failure 3 times in 36k miles. Additionally, axle seals have been replaced 3 times due to excessive heat from brakes. Brakes and seals have all been replaced 3 times. Spoke to Workhorse numerous times, was told there is no maintenance to do on brakes, just have them inspected twice a year, and have them replaced if sticking, even if it is every 10k miles @ $2,000 per repair.
