Headlights flickered off and on, would not stay on at night. Had at least one flash (off then on within one second period) every time I drove in the dark. One time it flashed continuously. Affected all electrical components. I notified dealer and also called Oldsmobile. Dealer replaced the alternator, said the problem was due to low voltage when an air pump near the alternator turned on. Exterior lighting
The contact owns a 2001 Oldsmobile Intrigue. The contact noticed that the turn signal suddenly stopped working. Prior to the failure, he noticed that the signal would stop working occasionally. However, the failure is currently more persistent. The vehicle has not been diagnosed by the dealer. The current mileage was 66,116 and failure mileage was 65,000. The headlights flicker/dim with no apparent strain on the system by other sources. Our warranty work has been done at biddulph arrowhead, peoria az 623-933-3900 as it is closer than the selling dealer. They have replaced the alternator 3 times with no positive results. It is annoying and distracting to the driver & oncoming traffic. Please contact them! Exterior lighting
