Reading the numbers
Across the 6 model years of the Lincoln Navigator in this data, 2001 draws comparatively few complaints; 1998 is the outlier year.
Filings have fallen off, 3 in the last three years against 15 in the three before. That is normal as a generation leaves the road.
The median odometer reading at the time of complaint was 73,322 miles.
In owners' own words
We unjustly lost the lemon hearing, our 2001 has 1997 tires which they refuse to change, the board felt the vib, and our tires are beginning to dry rot. This has been from day one when we peeled the plastic off and headed home, we have all r/o to back our claim. They are now telling us that it is normal for a $46,000 car to vibrate. Please help me.
