Instrument cluster failure for 2nd time. Nothing works in dash and Audi will not cover. No odometer, tach, fuel gauge, oil sensors, nothing. Left wife stranded because it showed a half tank of gas when it was actually empty. She had to walk 2 miles to get home. What if she had been raped, killed, etc. There are over 2600 complaints on audiforum where people have replaced up to 3 clusters for the same reason. Electrical system
Instrument cluster resets date, time. Fuel gauge malfunctions to read empty when full, and reads rpm inaccurately. Began a couple of years ago and not often, now it's a daily problem. On a recent trip I wanted to top the gas tank, but the center isle controls for the gas cap and hatch door failed to work forcing me to continue with the available gas in tank.
