In owners' own words

While slowly backing out of our driveway in reverse in our 1999 Chrysler Sebring Convertible, the car suddenly accelerated to full throttle, I stepped on the brake, tried to shift to neutral, instead shifted to drive and the car shot forward at full throttle until hitting a golf cart and the end of the garage, despite standing on the brake full force. It only stopped after turning off the ignition. Power train · reported at 73,000 miles
While driving heard a thumping noise in the front end of the vehicle. Took vehicle to the dealer, and was told that she needed a new axle. She had the axle replaced. Also, she was told that the rims were bad, and tires continuously lost air. Took the vehicle back to dealer, and was told that the rims rusted completely through. That was why the tires didn't last. The rims broke into the tires. Power train
The transmission went out on my 1999 Chrysler Sebring Convertible at less than 45000 miles. The transmission shop tellm me that they are seeing alot of these cars coming in with the same problem. 2 Months after the transmission was replaced the torque converter went out, apparently the same problem with the transmission not being made properly for my car.
