There were no incidents leading to the failure of the windshield wipers on my 1998 chevrolet blazer. They simply do not operate when it rains, which has become quite a hazard, especially during sudden rain, while driving the vehicle in traffic!*Ak while I have incurred no accidents due to this failure, I've had to stop in traffic, during inclement weather, as I could not see to maneuver the vehicle safely. Intermittent failure of windshield wiper motor. Been going on for 4 months. Been waiting for complete failure so defect can be detected. Have been informed this is a continuing problem on astro van. This is a 1998 chevrolet p/u that has an intermittent windshield wiper problem. We also own a 1995 chevrolet p/u that was recalled for the same problem and was recently repaired. The 1998 p/u has exactly the same symptoms as the 1995 and needs to be recalled also. Visibility · reported at 70,000 miles
