Reading the numbers

Across the 8 model years of the GMC Suburban in this data, 1995 ranks 3rd by complaint volume — 1994 draws the most.

Filings have fallen off, 4 in the last three years against 13 in the three before. That is normal as a generation leaves the road.

The median odometer reading at the time of complaint was 125,000 miles.

In owners' own words

The vehicle has a "heavy" pull to one side, and only when you "slam" on the brakes and the abs kicks-in. After bringing in to the dealer, I have had the front brake lines replaced. After additional complaints for the same problem they changed the calipers, rotors and brake lines. I still have the same complaint and problem after spending close to three thousand dollars. Service brakes, hydraulic
While driving at approx at any mph ,getting ready to stop, needs to push extremely hard on brakes. Started to hear air/squeaky noises while applying brakes. This is a intermittent problem. Dealer replaced brake booster. After this repair the brake pedal started to lock up. Has to wait for it release. This can result in an accident. Service brakes, hydraulic
Ea95026; poor brake performance; on normal road conditions, when applying the brakes the pedal, feels like it is stopping, but goes to the floor. A friction reline was done about (3) months ago, and problem still exists with the brakes. About (2) weeks ago, the brakes were rebuilt. No problem with brakes exists at this time.
