Intermittently windshield wipers quit working in middle of operation. Sometimes if turning the vehicle off and wait operation continues. Sometimes consumer has to tap on black box on the firewall for operation to continue. Problem has been reported to dealership/manufacturer. Truck was not included in recall due to vin. Problem has not been corrected. Visibility
Windshield wipers malfunctioned while in use, affecting visibility which may result in a crash. Wipers will fail after operating for a few minutes and come on again later. There is a recall for this problem, but the vehicle is not included in the recall due to vin# although it has the same defect. Visibility
When I turn on the switch for the windshield wipers they will not operate every time. A friend of mine had the same problem, general motors repaired his wiper motor under the recall, they told me my vehicle was not included in the recall even though I am experencing the same problem. Visibility
