The part to complete recall 00v-171 (frontal air bag) was on back order and the consumer was instructed to obtain a rental car, the consumer was told that gm would only pay 30 dollars a day for a rental car and the vehicle was not comparable to the Buick Regal the consumer owned, the consumer paid the difference for a comparable rental car and is requesting reimbursement. Consumer has received recall 00v171000/manufacturer's recall 00058 for passenger's side airbag. Consumer contacted dealer , benson Buick 9631 hickman rd des monies, ia. 50322 Phone # 515-276-6600, and before 2001 was told that parts weren't available. Parts still have not come in. Consumer will called Buick to see if they could make some arrangements for parts. Air bags
