I applied my brake pedal and it was fine one second and then lost pressure and went to the floor with a popping feeling on the right front wheel and then I turn my wheel into the other lane to avoid hitting the car in front of me and a car came from no where in the other direction and hit my 1994 Ranger on the right rear wheel and bedside . While driving at 40 mph the vehicle front right brakes locked up. Consumer had vehicle towed to the dealership and they indicated that the brake calipers had seized up. This cause damage to the brake rotors, drums and pads. The dealership indicated that this is a common problem with these vehicle but they are not recalling them. Ts Service brakes, hydraulic
Coming to a stop; heard a pop; had no brakes. Hit a building. Checked under hood & noticed master cylinder just hanging; no support. Called dealer. Was informed recall on vehicle's master cylinder studs (#96v024000 & 396v024001). Took vehicle to dealer & left it. Later was called informed no recalls for master cylinder. Service brakes, hydraulic
