The brakes on the truck failed 3 times on a 6000 mile trip, the tow rating for the truck is 12500 lbs, the trailers dry weight (which is deiplayed inside the kitchen cabinet) is 11,400, the consumer also had to replace 2 trailer brake controls and the trailer brake, when the consumers weight the trailer themselves they found that the trailer weighed 13000 which is overweight for the truck. Was going about 45mph when vehicle started bouncing. Stopped, checked tires for flat; no problem. Noticed smoke on the right front. Pulled vehicle over & checked brake calipers. Had to release brake pressure to get vehicle home. Needs to replace brake calipers. Service brakes, hydraulic
Brakes,rotors: rotors on both sides of vehicle cracked which created a vibration when applied the brakes. After 48,000 miles expected pads to wear but the cracked rotors helped in the wear of the pads. Service brakes, hydraulic
