Consumer had recall 93v125000 repairs done in august 2001, and within in 2 weeks fuel started leaking again. Vehicle has dual tanks. First time front tank was drained to stop overflow. Second time taken to service technician to put another fuel regulator to control fuel flow. Consumet was taken vehicle into repairs shop for thid time, and was not sure if this could be rectified. Ea99032;dual fuel tank crossflow/leakage: when rear tank was being used excess fuel was being returned to the front tank. Front tank overfilled, and fuel was pouring onto the ground. Owner was told that this problem was corrected in 1994 under recall # 93v125000 fuel: fuel tank assembly. Owner purchased truck in 1995, and problem existed then. Vehicle factory equipped with a fuel injection system with 2 fuel tanks. When switched to used rear tank, the unused portion of the fuel pumped from the rear tank into the front tank. If the fuel fron the front tank is not used first, the tank over flows. This vehicle was subject of recall in 1993, but problem was not corrected.
